Fit4life is designed specifically to improve the lives of young people who have been identified as being homeless and/or suffering from mental health issues in West Lothian.

This new initiative will allow us to deliver a holistic package of support for young people facing specific barriers when entering employment, education or training and generally moving on in life.

The initiative will include activities that will increase confidence, self-esteem, health and wellbeing, as well as obtaining new skills and access to supported training and employment opportunities.

Football will be used to provide a robust pathway for these target groups to play a more active role in their communities by removing barriers that currently prevent them from entering training, employment and education.

The programme has been funded through Big Lottery ‘Investing in Ideas’
